What's been going on with us lately? Well, who knows? The last few weeks have been a complete blur. I started back to school, Leyton started daycare and our whole routine changed greatly. Leyton is adjusting okay to daycare. I was the complete mess. I cried the night before his first day and then I cried again the morning of. Leyton has 3 other kids in his class. He seems to really like his teachers. Their theme this week is "Back to School" so they've been reading school themed books. Last week their theme was colors. Leyton is growing so much. He is rolling over, sitting up very well with support, eating cereal and has quite the personality. He loves to laugh and giggle, pull hair, earings, glasses, etc and he loves his toys! He gets bored easily. We are getting better at our routine and things are starting to come more naturally. It's a HUGE adjustment for us but we are doing pretty well.
School is going pretty well. It's SO HOT. I am hoping it starts to cool off soon--it's really kicking my butt. My classroom has no windows on the interior of the building so it just holds heat. Oh and did I mention it's NOT air conditioned? I'm teaching 5 sections of Personal Finance and 1 Computer Apps II. So far it seems that I have pretty good kids and the year has gotten off to a pretty good start. However, I'm already looking forwar to Labor Day weekend!
